The Spatial Audio Kit plugins are a collection of plugins which can be used inside the DAW.

The collection currently includes two binaural renderers for listening to Ambisonics/Surround on headphones:

  • SAKMatrixDecoder - decoder based on convolution of matrix IRs
  • SAKRenderer - decoder based on Apple’s Spatial Mixer AU (also supports 7.1.4)

And a resizable visualizer:

  • SAKVisualizer - GPU shader-based Ambisonics visualizer with three modes:
    • Multi-channel VU/Peak Meter
    • Power Map
    • Spatial-spectral display

The decoders can receive YPR messages over OSC from SAKHeadtracker

They are available as V3 AudioUnits only for now.
